With 20+ years in global tech leadership, he specialises in building high-performance engineering organizations, fostering innovation culture, and leading digital transformation at scale. Mirco believes strong teams and great leadership are the real keys to success.
Mirco joined lastminute.com more than 7 years ago, progressing from Director of Platform Engineering to Director of Product Engineering, before stepping into the CTO role.
His journey in technology began hands-on, building computers and understanding systems from the ground up. This technical foundation led him to entrepreneurship, where he founded and ran his own company, learning firsthand the challenges of building technology businesses. At YOOX-Net-a-Porter Group, he scaled this experience to enterprise level, leading cloud and e-commerce infrastructure for one of luxury retail's digital pioneers.
Mirco holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Università di Bologna, and recently completed an Executive Master at CFMT in Milan focused on leadership, strategy, and innovation.
