Elevator Pitch
I hold the role of Research and Development Manager for Artigo SpA, where I oversee the company's strategies to ensure product quality excellence and continuous process improvement, including supplier evaluation, quality control of materials and finished products, as well as participation in development and research projects in collaboration with universities and external entities.
I am responsible for supervising and managing environmental, social, and governance impacts, with particular attention to environmental sustainability and environmental management systems. I have specific expertise in ISO14000, ISO50000, ISO45000, and ISO 26000 regulations, as well as in evaluating LCA models, EPDs, and conducting Carbon Footprint analyses. Additionally, I am actively involved in waste, by-products, and recycled materials management, implementing sustainable practices and adhering to major environmental certifications such as Cradle to Cradle, EPD, Leed, GreenGuard, Breeam, among others.
For over eighteen years, I have served as Product Marking Manager, overseeing regulatory compliance in the CE, Naval, and Railway sectors. For a period of five years, I supervised Environmental Management operations according to ISO 14001 standards, actively contributing to environmental protection and corporate sustainability. Subsequently, I took on the role of Product Development & R&D Manager for the Artigo Contract & Transport flooring line, operating at Artigo's facilities in Cairo Montenotte, Gallo d'Alba (Cn), and Luxembourg. During this time, I focused on research and development of new products, managing every stage of the process with precision and innovation.
I possess extensive expertise in utilizing advanced analytical tools and techniques for material characterization and quality control, ensuring compliance with current regulations and adherence to the highest standards of sustainability and safety. My dedication to innovation and sustainability continues to guide my professional actions and decisions, positively contributing to the future of the company and the environment.
